FACULTY OF THEATRE

ACTING FOR STAGE

PRIVATE ACTING - STAGE

An actor needs to completely understand the technical aspects of their craft, and learn to be authentic, compelling and interesting in all artistic choices.

Comprehensive training, with a focus on the body and voice as your core instruments, is important to the development of the actor.

With the guidance of our experienced teachers, building upon your skill and learning techniques that work uniquely for you will be the objective so that you can take your work to the next level. Practicing immediacy and learning how to get out of your head is essential in the process of becoming a better actor and performer.

With a highly personalized approach, performers will be mentored, and the learning will be individualized, so that students work at their own pace and level. Written evaluation and re-assessment, will be provided, identifying areas of growth and skills that need further refinement.

Based on an initial consultation, a personalized lesson plan will be designed to meet your needs while addressing the areas of:

• Role Preparation

• Exploring Emotional Depth and Memory Recall

• Acting Tactics and Objectives
